Every time someone submits a new question, I'm getting an email about it.
I've found in my notification settings that I can unsubscribe to all of the posts, but I'd like to not be automatically subscribed to them in the first place.
How do I turn that off?
Hi @John Worrall Go to the front of the group page. Below the description on the right, click the button "Unwatch". That will turn off email notifications :)

I misunderstood. Here's what you do:
1. Click on your profile pic, choose Manage Settings
2. Click on the tab Notifications
3. Click the button below named Settings
4. Uncheck the box Automatically watch anything I participate in

"Automatically subscribe me to all group hubs that I join" is the setting that got you subscribed to all posts in this group. So make sure to turn that one off.
"Automatically watch anything I participate in" will only give you follow ups on threads when you actually post something. So that's much less noisy.

Thank you. I hadn't seen my settings before, so I think it defaulted to spamming me.
