What the Kudos are for?

I understand it is a rewards program, however, what if a person gets 100 kudos is there a tangible price? Or is it only part of the gaming resources? Either way, count me in!

Really it is just a great way to participate in the community and gamify/provide feedback on who and how often individuals are contributing.
