You BLEW our goal out of the water and I can't believe it: Likes 4 Trees wrapup 💥
Y'all. Y'all. You did it - and not only did you plant 50,000 trees in July, you went ahead and planted 10,000 more in just a few days. I'm still so amazed, impressed, and overwhelmed.
Last year, our record-breaking total was 45,000 trees. This year, I was cautiously optimistic and thought we could proooobably plant 50,000 trees. But then you all did it - four days early. And then came the stretch goal with four days to go. And somehow you did that too!
I have more good news! While we were planting trees, our #1 vote-getter, Female Farmer empowerment in Rwanda, was fully funded by our partner, One Tree Planted! This means we will be planting more trees in our other winning locations - Bangladesh and Canada - for a total of 50,000 trees between those two locations. We're still working on where to plant our 10,000 stretch goal trees - so stay tuned for that!
And I'm most excited of all about our Super Planters - last year, there were 14 of you, and this year? 36 of us! (That's right, I made it this year, high five to me.) Time for the Super Planter roll call!
First off, congratulations to three people who planted over 3000 trees each - the previous record was 2,585, set last year by Community Champion and tree-tracker-maker extraordinaire, @Amanda Barber.
This year Amanda broke her own record with an incredible 3,248 trees - but she isn't the new record holder! In fact, she was was beaten out by Rising Star (and I'm calling it now, future Community Champion) @Brita Moorus with an unbelievable 3,326 trees - PLU our new record holder by 7 trees, Community Champion @Tomislav Tobijas with a whopping 3,333 trees planted!
Three people planted over 2000 trees each:

- @Shubham Agarwal ( with 2719 trees
- @Mikael Sandberg with 2,199 trees
Eight people planted over 1000 trees each:

There are a lot of Contributors and Rising Stars in the mix - and even a few Community Champions who joined the program since last year's tree-planting extravaganza! I'm excited to see what lies ahead for these amazing contributors, and really - we couldn't have done it without all of you.
I'm so excited to say that each Super Planter will be gifted their own individual tree, planted in their name - keep an eye out for an email with details. This means our actual tree total will be 60,039 trees planted in 2025! And 39 of those will be extra special.
Our Tree Tracker will be updated soon. So give yourselves a pat on the back (you know I did!) and as always, keep an eye out for our next initiative to help our planet!
