Hi, @jcarrier - I notice my Kudos dropdown goes "missing" if my browser drops below a certain width. If you have your page full screen, it should show at the top of the page.
I almost never have my window that wide when I'm on my laptop (I'm a too many tabs AND too many windows open kind of person), so I had this same question when the change first happened! I did put in a request to have it drop into the accordion kind of view.
