Hi All -
i just launched a new internal AUG. Any advise, topics, or materials anyone can point me to? Expecting about 250/2,000 users.
Thanks
Joey
Hi Joey,
We just launched a new company user group as well, and found this article by Manon Soubies-Camy very helpful: Start a Company User Group: work better together
In particular, we held our first event as a Lean Coffee so we could get a better understanding of what our employees are interested in learning about. We gathered their ideas into a Jira project where they can continue to add votes and feedback.
We set up a Confluence space to plan our upcoming events, and we've started using Confluence blog posts and a dedicated Slack channel to keep the conversation going with our new community.
Good luck -- I also look forward to hearing advice from others who have been doing this for a while!

Hi @Joey Klein & @Sharon Helms
I've been running an internal company (Capgemini) Atlassian User Group for the past year or so, and they're going from strength to strength.
In the beginning, @Celina Zamora put me in touch with a seasoned AUG pro who gave me some really great ideas for AUG's, such as:
We've got an AUG scheduled for next Wednesday, and our confirmed topics are:
We tailor our talks to our community, but there's so much content available on the Atlassian websites to help you too. For example, the ACE Leader Content. (This is up to date with the Atlassian Open presentations too!)
We'd planned to take our AUGs on the road around the UK this year, but we've been busy in the office so next year is a must!
Would love to know how you both got/get on with your AUGs.
Helen
Hi @Helen Griffiths {Capgemini} - we had our first last month and we have another in November. I also want to focus a lot on our upcoming upgrade (yet to be scheduled). Thanks for the link, I'm going to check it out
