Hey everyone, just wanted to quickly announce that we released a new integration for all the GitLab self-hosted customers out there! Click on the Settings (gear) icon in the top right of Compass and choose "Incoming webhooks" to find our new GitLab self-managed incoming webhook which enables you to get build, deployment, and merge request events & metrics into Compass. Learn more here.
After creating the incoming webhook listener in Compass, you'll need to create a new webhook integration for a Project or Group in GitLab and choose to send "Deployment statuses", "Pushes", and "Workflow" webhooks. Any Compass component that links to a GitLab repository with the webhook setup will now start displaying Deployment events on the activity feed and several metrics like the number of currently open MRs or Deployment Frequency from GitLab 🎉
Try it out and let us know what you think!
