Can the Description text area be made resizable?

Can this text area be made resizable, or at least taller? Two lines is a really small text area into which to enter/edit 4096 characters of description, especially once it spreads across multiple lines:

It would also be really handy to cross-reference other components (e.g. by their slug) and have those references replaced with links.

Hi @Keith Furnell most browsers support resizing text fields, but at least from my testing in Edge, it doesn't seem like it's possible with this description field. There is an expandable More details field just below the description, that when clicked opens a larger text field with formatting options. That field isn't expandable either, but auto-expands as you type into. A possible workaround might be to type your description into the More details field, and then cut/paste into the description field.
