As OpsGenie is being discontinued, I'm looking into Compass Operation for on call functionalities for multiple teams.
Some features seems to be lacking on Compass though, like assign a ticket to the on-call person (and therefore get the teams on call person)on Jira integration, and the list on call person for all teams on the Slack integration.
Is there a way to get these integrations or do you plan to add them there?
Hey @Leandro Guida ! I'm just a lowly engineer, so I won't comment on the exact roadmap status, but I did want to follow up on your ask about the Slack integration specifically. I'll see if I can find a PM to chime in on future functionality.
The Compass Slack app did enable slash commands with our recent update to support Compass Operations. I believe the `/compass whoisoncall` command is what you're looking for in terms of listing out who is currently on-call. You can optionally add a <schedule name> argument to view a specific on-call schedule as opposed to viewing all of them.
If that command isn't exactly meeting your requirements, I'd love to hear about it so I can log a feature request in our backlog.
Oh. I didn't see the command before because although I had set up the integration, the command only shows if I link a team to a channel.
I see the command now.
But I'm still looking for on call auto-assignment on Jira tickets.
