Custom Webhooks - Impossible to create

Tyler Gibson April 9, 2025

Spent two hours now attempting to create a single custom webhook.

No matter what data I enter, I cannot proceed past the second screen (map the payload of the event).  The "next" button is ALWAYS disabled.

It is also maddening that accidentally clicking anywhere outside the modal dialog dismisses the process, and deletes all of your work.

If you attempt to use ".repository" in the build_url mandatory field, it BREAKS THE PAGE when you type the letter y.  You have to copy and paste the jq string in to not break the page.

Following the provided sample payload doesn't even work.

Hi @Guillaume _Apwide_ , we have implemented better error handling and messaging in the app since this post was made. If the Next button is disabled, check for a validation error under at least one of your input fields and instructions on how to correct it. We also fixed the bug where typing in some fields was breaking the page.

If you are still experiencing an issue, could you please create a support ticket with additional details on the problem you are seeing?
