Beta experience improvements

Hi everyone, we’re excited to announce several enhancements to the RBAC beta, rolling out over the next few days. Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Company Hub management with roles: Assign and manage Company Hub access more easily with clear, role-based controls.

• Custom role enhancements:

  • Assign custom roles to guests and anonymous users, giving you greater flexibility for secure collaboration.

  • When editing a custom role, you can now reassign anyone who previously held that role to a new one, with improved handling for users, guests, and anonymous access.

  • You can now delete custom roles while they’re in use and seamlessly remove or reassign access for all affected users during the process.

• Simplified sharing: When sharing, if someone needs space access, you can now grant it directly by assigning a role if you have the necessary space access.

• Improved reporting: Exported user access reports now include access granted by user classes, providing a more comprehensive view of your organization’s access landscape.

We hope these improvements make managing access even easier and more intuitive. Thank you for being part of the RBAC beta!

Are there terms and conditions before subscription? All kinds of effects can increase, such as if a montreal student hosing is involved with it, meaning they go up.

To opt into the role-based access control beta, a Confluence product admin needs to agree to Atlassian's beta terms of service. This is linked in the "opt-in" flow. 

What you're agreeing to when you opt in is laid out in the two documents linked:

• Atlassian customer agreement
• Atlassian privacy policy
