It would be great to access details of a user type field, e.g. the department information of a user profile.

Usecase:

As a manager, I want to filter on users of a specific department

Hello @Bernd Raesig

You can for sure request this feature for Atlassian, but their feature request policy was changed:

Now, everything is about starting a discussion: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/forums/postpage/choose-node/true/interaction-style/forum or like the screenshot says if you are on the Standard or Premium plan to contact the customer support team.

Wouldn't you just add a second tag saved as 'department' and apply that to a profile?

Thank you @zak , that's what I have done now. But I would prefer to use existing data that is tight to the real user account. That is why I raised my question.
