Connect to Confluence database with Tableau/PowerBI (or another BI tool)

Hi Confluence Database community, 

Is it possible to connect Tableau or PowerBI directly to a Confluence Database? 

If YES: how can this be done?

If NO: is it something that will come in the future?

Hi Jason, 

The use case is that we want to collect information from colleagues in the company, who already use Confluence, about their skills and certifications. I will connect this information with information found in the HR system and ERP system. Presentation of information is then either in a dashboard in Tableau or Power BI.
I primarily want to retrieve information from Confluence directly with Tableau/PowerBI and have this as real-time as possible.
Option 2 is to export data from the Confluence database to csv. If it is possible to automate such export then it can work. It works to do this manually, but we want to avoid that.

The goal is to build a competency/certification matrix and other presentations regarding our skills in the company.
