Question or Bug - Entry Link field only shows "Unnamed entry"

Hi,

My database has 4 entries so far. It has a column of type "Entry link", which points to the same database (I want to link entries of the same database to each other).

When I click in the column to start adding some links, it shows 4 "Unnamed entry"... so I don't know which one I should select. 

What am I doing wrong - is there a setting somewhere to tell Confluence what the title of an entry is?

The problem has been solved by moving a Text column to the far left of the database - now the linked entries display the content of this Text column.

Though I don't understand why Confluence didn't initially name the linked entries based on the Text column that was on the leftmost previously.
