I'm wondering as many in this community, when the databases will be accessible external, e.g. with REST API?
My guesses: not gonna happen in the next years.
As the performance of the "databases" is very bad, it seems as the data is stored inside a "Page Container" as kind of page properties. So creating a wrapper would make the performance even worse.
hope to be told wrong one day.
The type of the content can already be requested through the REST API, and it’s distinguished as a database. The requests are exchanged with the server using keys from the used database.
I guess a somehow good answer can only be given by an Atlassian employee which knows the details on the matter.
