Audience Segmentation for Dynamic Cards

Hello Community,

We are excited to introduce a new feature: Audience Segmentation for Dynamic Cards. This enhancement builds upon our existing Audience Segmentation for Manual Cards, bringing similar functionality to the dynamic variant so that you can show a set of dynamic cards to a particular Atlassian user group. Users will only see content relevant to their job descriptions, enhancing the overall user experience.

To configure segmentation for Dynamic Cards, follow these steps:

1. Access the Config Panel: Navigate to the Content tab.

2. Select Dynamic Variant: Choose the Dynamic option under Card Type.

3. Turn on Audience Segmentation: Choose All Cards.

4. Select Target Audience Groups: Select one or multiple Atlassian groups.

Example: If you select the Design group, editors will be able to see the unfiltered view on edit, but upon clicking Update, if you do not belong to the Design group, no cards will be rendered.

To visualize how the hub will appear for different groups, you can click on the Preview icon, left of the Update button. On Preview, you can select a target audience and see the cards tailored for that specific group, including both manual and dynamic variants. This feature allows admins to preview the hub's appearance before publishing, ensuring that the content is appropriately targeted.
