Resize Confluence tables to any width!

The horizontal scroll bar and wide table width go away once you save the page. The table and columns go back to very narrow width, causing the table rows to become jumbo size due to the columns being too narrow to fit all the text.

No option to do this. Is it only being rolled out to certain users?

I can't understand why it's not possible to have super wide tables with horizontal scrollbar. The way how Atlassian implemented something fundamental like a table is useless to me. I now use Excel instead.
I can't understand that something like this exists in 2025.
