Hey Confluence Community!
We've heard from many of you about the challenges of using the inline toolbar on an empty line. It can be tricky to figure out how to insert headers, bullet lists, or other elements when you’re staring at a blank page. But guess what? You have a couple of super handy tools right at your fingertips!
First, the slash command: Just type “/” on a blank line, and a menu will appear, allowing you to insert headers, bullet lists, macros, panels, and more—without leaving your keyboard!
Next up, the plus button: Located on the left side of the line when you hover your cursor, this button is your gateway to a world of formatting options. Just click it, and you can add anything from images to tables to code blocks, all with a simple click.
With these tools, you can transform a blank line into a fully formatted masterpiece in seconds. So, next time you’re in Confluence, give it a try and watch your productivity soar!
Happy editing!
