5.1.3: What is the funny editor behavior at bottom of edit screen?

If I am at the bottom of the text area, first char of last line, at bottom left corner of editor, and I type:

h2.

or such, the line I am editing jumps off, below the editor area.

Very frustrating to have the editor jump around, and to kind of push what I am doing off screen below the work area. (4.1 had this issue, and I naively thought 5.1 would solve it...)

How do I solve?

That's strange. Could that be a plugins or a customization causing it?

To troubleshoot the cause please try removing - temporarily - any customization on your Confluence.

If the issue persists, set all your third-party plugins to Safe Mode to check if some plugins is causing it.
