About page permissions in confluence If the page's permissions are limited to the creator and any group, and others are inaccessible, then if the creator's account is disabled or deleted, the group with the page's permissions will continue to be able to access or delete it. Is it possible to update the reference?

Yeah that's true. If they have view and edit restrictions, they can still be able to edit the pages.

Besides you save admin can view the restricted pages and add him/her(self) as the page editor and then assign permissions to the users as well.
