Hi.
My confluence works fine on access for service desk users, but when they use a search box and type enter, the site show up a access denied page. What can I do?
Thanks!
Hello @Conveniar,
What version of Jira Service Desk are you using, and is the search box you're referring to the one in Jira Service Desk, or in Confluence?
If you're on JSD 3.1, I recommend reviewing the following page to make sure that everything has been set up properly.
If this doesn't help, can you confirm with me where the error is encountered exactly, and if the page is set to anonymous access? It will also help to know what you have set up for Knowledge Base Settings and Permissions, if you can please share that with me.
Thank you!
Shannon
Hello.
My version of the SD is 4.7.1.
The error happens when the user types in a box (search box) inside my space and then presses "enter".
There is no anonymous access, but a SD integration with the space and regular accesses. Customers are already able to browse the space, but a search in a "box search" takes the user to a denied page.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing those screenshots with me. So it looks like this is happening in Confluence itself, and not the Jira Service Desk Customer Portal, is that right?
If so, since your Jira Service Desk customers don't have Confluence licenses, they are limited with what they can do inside of Confluence. There's a feature request for this below to provide them with more abilities, such as searching.
The search functionality within the Customer Portal is really the best way for your customers to search the connected space from within Jira. You can review this in Write and Search for Knowledge Base Articles to learn more about how that works.
I hope that helps, but do let me know if you have any questions about it.
Take care,
Shannon

Hi.
Ok. I understand, but why is the best way to search in a space blocked? Does not make sense. If customers have access to the space, they should have access to search within the space. It doesn't really make sense to me.
