Access to Add-Ons

Anurag Jain November 19, 2015

I used to have access to manage add-ons in confluence (hosted internally).

I am not able to access add ons once we implemented integration with our Active Directory.

I am part of "confluence-administrators" and can access all other admin functions.

Please discuss if you have seen this before and if there is a easy resolution for it.

Thanks,

Go to admin -> global permissions and check exactly which groups have admin rights.

Bear in mind you might have an internal confluence-administrators group with full rights, and another confluence-administrators group in LDAP with lower rights.

Thanks for reviewing.

Only "confluence-administrators" has admin rights.

LDAP does not have a second group called "confluence-administrators".

Ok, next thing to do - go to Admin -> Users -> user directories and tell us what order the directories are listed in.

I see two listings: 1. Active Directory Server 2. Confluence Internal Directory

Ok, now, what happens if you try to reverse the order of these? Note that this should only be done when it's a quiet time, and if it gives you any warning messages, click "no" so that you don't change anything, and tell us what the warning is.
