I have created an account for personal use, but turns out I am not the admin and I cannot make changes to my Confluence settings.
When I signed up for Confluence, there was a server issue which could have been what caused the issue. Now I have to require access to my own Confluence site, which is sent to my own email.
Hi @Connie Leong , that doesn't make any sense. If indeed, the case it would be a bug. Are you the only user of this instance? Note that for free instances, every resource is an admin. It would be interesting to see if someone else could access and diagnose your permissions. Let me know what you find out.
if you haven't invested much, you could just trash this one and start over with a new instance..

Hi Jack! It makes no sense to me too, I've looked everywhere to try and gain admin access.
I'm new to Atlassian so please pardon me if I get any terms or ideas wrong, but I believe I am the only user of the instance.
Could you please guide me to where I can trash the instance. But on second thought it would be fun to see if anyone can solve the issue.

Hi @Connie Leong ,
so it sounds like you created the answers, correct? is the image that you provided originally what you see when you attempt to login? I wonder if you could try from a different browser? If you are the person that created the instance, and you have not added any other users them, you are the only one.
