Add Active Directory group as participants

Hi,

I would like to add Active Directory groups to a page as participants instead of adding each user separately.

I can't find a way of doing this. When I'm tryng to add participants I can only find Active Directory users and unfortunately no Active Directory groups.

Is this because of a missing entry or wrong configuration within our Confluence setup? Or is this a known issue?

Is there anyway to do this?

Is there another way to achieve this? It's a bit annoying to add the same mulitple users each time for pages.

Participants are deliberately designed to be individuals.  Groups lose definition and can't participate anyway, as they're not able to edit.
