Hello everyone!

I created the Space for another team and because I do not belong to it and do not want to be displayed on the team's main page, it was mandatory to remove myself from the list right then in the Confluence Space creation interface.

I found out after saving the new Team Confluence Space that I still need to add and display another member on the main page. I added him to the team's Confluence Space but he does not appear on the main page, I can only find the new team member in the {Permissions} and {Restrictions} sections.

How can I update the Home Page of the team's Confluence Space by Adding/Deleting a team member?

Thanks.

Hi @Krausz_ Cornel-Daniel and welcome to the Community,

not having used the "Team space" thing myself but looking at your screenshots:

"Team space" is a template - by adding Team members in the very first screen, they not only are added to the space permissions but also get their own "panel" on the space overview page.

When you add people afterwards, these are two separate steps:

  1. add them to the Space permissions
  2. add their panel to the space overview

It looks like the overview uses user macros. So you would only have to add the one macro to the page and get the Avatar and name automatically.

Templates can only ever be used at the time of creation - they won't have an impact on permissions or content afterwards anymore. Same goes for page templates.
