Hello there!

The usage of page anchors is quite common and can help users to orchestrate how they navigate in pages throughout the application.  Currently, free form anchors are not available for Confluence Cloud. What we currently have are Linkable Headings.

For us to create an anchor to a header, we must follow this step by step:

  1. Create a new page
  2. Create a header
  3. Publish the page
  4. Click the chain icon to the left side of your header
  5. The copied link is an anchor that directs the user straight into that header

You can check more about this feature and a few others under this post, Bimpe:

Currently, there is a feature request for free form anchors in Confluence Cloud. Here, take a look:

I hope this shines some light into your issue, @Bimpe ! Looking forward to your reply.
