Adding JIRA Macros in confluence

Ankur Dhawan April 8, 2013

While creating JIRA macro in confluence (Edit > Other Macros > JIRA) it is giving following error

Element Type input must be terminated by the matching end tag, class java.io.IOException..

I have tried copying the Jira URL (Filter > XML) from rt click copy link address as well as clicking on JIRa > Filter > XML and copying the url from browser...

Does any one know why is this exception coming ?

Can you give an example of the JQL query of the JIRA URL you are trying to embed in Confluence? A common cause of this error is that Confluence does not understand a part of the query you are trying to embed.
