Hello dear all
We have a Confluence Server, it has a number of spaces. And we need to make a variable site homepage. That is, some users should see one site page when entering Confluence, some should see another.
So far, the only option that has been discovered is to set the alternate site homepage for all users who need it in Profile - Settings - Site Homepage. But perhaps there are more elegant solutions.
All users are logged into AD, if necessary, so any selection is possible.
Since Server licenses are not going to be supported by Atlassian for much longer, I am going assume that your instance is going to migrate to Data Center sometime in the near future.
I would recommend that you check out "Refined for Confluence" (https://help.refined.com/space/CONFDC) and K15t's "Scroll Viewport" (https://help-cloud.k15t.com/scroll-viewport-data-center/2.21/). Both of these plugins can help you make a customized site homepage based on the user.
Hi Ditte,
Unfortunately this assumption is not correct) we are not going to migrate to Data Center in the near future since we are not able to( so we use the server license.
Also, we cannot buy any plugins since we are prohibited to pay for them, because we are from Russia.
