Anonymous access to the space

Hello,

The following problem has arisen:

A space is created and anonymous access is provided to it, but when people who do not have access try to follow the link, they are asked to enter a login and password.

Why is this happening?

did you also set 'can use' in global permissions for anonymous users?

Does the space home page or the directly linked page have any restrictions?

You should also check how your users are synchronized - maybe they are not really anonymous because they appear in confluence but are not part of a group. We had this problem with AD Sync.

Yes of course, in global permissions and in space we did permissions for anonymous users. But probmlem is not resolve.

We have only ten licens, and we are using only 4 licens. And we want that rest users use our confluence only anonymous view.

Yes, we are useing LDAP sync.

@Eldar Nadyrov - than you should have a look in your user management - when the people appear in the system but don't belong to any group -> they are not anonymous! System will only give them access when you assign them to a confluence group -> PROBLEM That's gonna cost a licence.

Our solution is - we created a Confluence-user Group in AD and only synchronize this one with confluence. (The cool thing is you can give them a confluence group by default e.g. confluence-users in the LDAP settings in the system - but I think it won't be too hard to manage 10 users  :) )

I understand all this.

The fact is that we have about 2000 people in the company, but they all do not need licenses in the conflict.
About 7-8 people will fill the space, and all the others will only browse.

And most interestingly, we have two space now, with the same settings, only in one space people can view anonymous and in the second there is no, asks for authorization.

hmm that sounds strange - maybe the sites have special settings?

It may be because we have Confluence Starter License ?
