Anyone experienced issues in Confluence with Embedded JIRA Issue

I have a user who is creating a report that included JIRA Issues that insert fine.  After some period of time the macro disappears but the issue information remain

Hi Brian,

Can you confirm your Jira and Confluence versions, as well as the version of your Confluence Jira Plugin?

You can find this by going to CONFLUENCE-BASE-URL/plugins/servlet/upm/manage/all and search "Confluence Jira Plugin".

Could you also install Confluence Source Editor and show us what the Confluence source looks like for a macro that is displaying properly and one that does not?

The broken one actually isn't a Jira issues macro at all but was pasted as a reference to a URL and a simple class. 

The working one is an actual macro as you can see with the macro-id listed there and working parameters.

The only conceivable way that the macros could have changed status would be during a page edit. We'd need to know exactly how the user created the page, and what they changed when it stopped working.

For example, does the user tend to copy and paste these macros from elsewhere?Are any other users having the same issue?
