we have an existing confluence space that splintered into 2 different programs for 2021. I want to take a part of that space and copy it into the new space for the program and make it an archive, so it is available, but not have it included in searches.
is is possible to archive an individual page and its children within a space?
am i losing any functionality of those pages by copying them from 1 space to another.
what is the best way to achieve what I am looking to do?
@Susan Piergallini, you can copy pages, but hiding them from a search I'm not sure is possible.
You can limit who can see those pages using page restrictions or space permissions, but anyone who can see them will be able to see them in searches. Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Kian
Thanks for your response - i did some further investigation on this and found that through a copy, we would loose the version history of a page -
so perhaps the real question is it possible to copy a set of pages or a full space without loosing version history?
