Our Confluence spaces may be used for public-facing students in the California Community Colleges system. We need information confirming they meet accessibility standards before they can be used.
What accessibility standards do these spaces comply with?
Hi @Patricia Donohue , We are also using Atlassian Cloud products at a university, and have been disappointed at the lack of responsiveness from Atlassian regarding accessibility concerns.
The Atlassian accessibility webpage provides VPATs -- but only for their server and data center products, which do not share the same features.
We have raised concerns about Accessibility in one on one conversations with Atlassian product management, as well as here on the Community.
One of our questions, Using Jira Service Desk and/or Confluence? Is accessibility a concern received a comment from a developer on a team, but we still have not seen any coordinated Atlassian response.
Hopefully we will see some response here! It looks like they hired a "Head of Accessibility" at Atlassian four months ago, so maybe...?
In the meantime, you may want to open a support ticket requesting a VPAT, and also comment on any existing accessibility related issue you can find, including: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-12383
Best wishes, Sharon
