Assign space admin permission for the user

Hi ,

I am the site admin for my confluence instance.

We have restricted space created by the user who left the organisation now.

I am able to provide View/Edit permission for any user in the space as I am site admin.

I want to add another user managing that who is not a site admin. Please let me know if we can provide space admin permission for a user.

Hi @Vignesh Jayagopal ,

I hope I understand your question correctly. Yes, it is possible to grant basic users permission to administer the space.

Just navigate to the Space Settings -> Permissions -> Individual Users

Here you can add your user and Admin permission for him (usually all the permissions are given to space admins, like view, delete everything, set restrictions etc.)
