I am currently setting up a developer collaboration site using Confluence. I am trying to build a message board like functionality that is very similar to the way the Answers section is built. I would like to speak with a developer of that area if at all possible to discuss how to set up a similar area for my team.
Hmm - interesting idea.
Atlassian Answers is not Confluence though -
It is running this: http://www.osqa.net/
Look familiar?
You could do some-answers-like things with Confluence too though.
If you want Confluence as the base, I think it would be good to start with a theme, like Zen Foundation - and then with mixes of custom user macros or plugins, could build out additional functionality.
Not a bad idea either - so don't throw that idea away.
Happy to discuss more wiith you.
