Atlassian Companion App Error: JavaScript error occured in the main process

Hello
Since earlier this week I'm greeted with this humongous error message from the Atlassian Companion app after my PC boots up.
I've tried to uninstall the app and remove these folders mentioned below, but it does not help at all.
C:\Users\username\.atlassian...
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Atlassian Companion
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\atlassian-desktop-companion
The error message pops up when I:
- try to open the app
- try to install the app
- try to uninstall the app
Install or uninstall seem to finish correctly, as I can see that the app disappears from the software list in the windows control panel.
The version of the installed that I've downloaded today is 1.3.0
