A user of my organization reports she has four different accesses in the Atlassian app switcher. She has sent me this:
How can we erase all the "team" access so just one left?
Thank you !
Hi @Joan Andreu Juan Torrens ,
I posted an answer a few minutes ago, but it disappeared magically, so here again my interpretation of the problem:
The three other instances were most likely created accidentally by her. This is a common issue where users forget the link to their company instance, so they type "Jira" or "Confluence" into Google, and often the registration link appears at the top of the search results. They believe they are logging into the company instance but end up creating new ones instead.
Please check this discussion for more insights: link
To delete these instances, if the account is managed, the organization admin can assign themselves as the admin for those instances and delete them. If it's not managed, then the user who created the instance (in this case, your colleague) needs to delete it.
Thanks a lot Sarp
It seems it has happened as you say. I'm going to confirm it and see how to erase that instances.
