Attachments Causing Server Errors (Cannot attach file -----.jpg: Unknown server error (###).)

We are getting errors like: 'Cannot attach file -------.jpg: Unknown server error (###).. when we try to upload images. The proper permissions are in place. It appears to affect jpegs the most. I was reading that in some cases spaces in the names of the files can cause issues, but when I change a name with spaces to not having spaces the error still occurs.

We need to solve this as we upload a large amount of files and can't be changing names all the time. Is there any other information out there that we can reference?

Could you take a look at the log file at <CONFLUENCE-HOME>/logs/atlassian-confluence.log, if any additional information appears there about the problem here?

Also check if the Tomcat URI encoding is set properly as of this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+URL+Encoding+on+Tomcat+Application+Server
