Auto updating site-list with specific tag/label/content

I am looking for the right plugin/macro:

I want to create a list of links to sites containing specific content (compare "Page overview"), but i want to avoid (global) tags or labels. The list should be auto-updating.

This is one of the things that labels are for.  In some cases, it's their primary function.

Your requirement is absolutely screaming "use labels and the content-by/relatedpages macros that work off labels"

...Because of the huge number of required labels. I dont want to flood our confluence instance with our very specific, space/project-related tags.

Or do i miss the part where i can set labels to work only for one space or site only?
