Automatic email notification when a user is mentioned (instead of in-app notification)

Is there a way to have confluence send an automatic email notification to the user that gets mentioned (using the @-symbol) on a page? Currently, our users only receive an in-app notification when somebody mentions them. We would prefer email notifications though and don't really need the in-app notifications.
