Hi,
I have create a request ticket, creating a table. one goal is to be able to number the entries and autoranking if we change a number, without having to go through all the entries and re rank/number them. Right now I am using ConfiForms Field Definition, Autonumber, but it doesn't allow me to change that number when I edit the entry. Is there a setting or another definition I can use?
Thanks
Are you looking to have something like this https://wiki.vertuna.com/spaces/TEST/pages/12222999/ConfiForms+form+with+drag+and+drop+and+REST+API ?
Alex
I would love to do that, but here are screenshots of what I have, can i still do it? My Stack Rank is autonumber in the Definition. And I would copy the code and put it in a CSS Style box?

Sorry, you cannot re-arrange the autonumber - it is assigned on creation and is read-only after that
But as in the demo posted earlier you can have your own field to keep the rank

The code needs to be copied into the HTML macro, as it is a custom scripting and pretty advanced techniques that require a bit of a technical knowledge and some adjustments to fit your form's configuration

So if I got rid of stack rank and used the code, i it would autoamatically number my entries? Just want to confirm, because stack rank is not a need at all

@Alex, is there a specific HTML box or insert we need to do to make this work, we have tried to put in CSS Style and others but the functionailty doesn't work. where should we put the code to enable the it to work on the table? Thank you for all of this.
We were wondering if we need to get our administrators to enable this function for us too?

As this is about the scripting then it expects you to have an HTML macro available/enabled. If you dont have it then you cannot do this advanced scripting
