I have inherited a number of Atlassian apps running on the internal DB. I am migrating them all to MSSQL.
My current issue is that Confluence is not backing up all the data when I run it through scheduled jobs.
When I preform a backup from General Configuration --> Backup & Restore it creates multiple zips but the restore process only wants one.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
OK, so bypassing the proxy solved the multiple file issue. However it's still not getting all the data
It appears to have something to do with being logged in a recovery_admin

Kevin,
What version of Confluence is this on?
Can you confirm the location of the backups for the ones you generate through Backup & Restore?

Shannon

It's version 6.13.0
Every time I run it from scheduled jobs I only get data to Jan 30.
When I run it from backup restore I get 3, I do not recall refreshing the page. It's going through a proxy and it times out. I will try running it bt bypassing the proxy and report back
The backup and restore location is
/var/atlassian/application-data/confluence/temp
Thanks for the response

Kevin,
Thank you for letting me know that bypassing the proxy allowed you to create a single backup.
The problem here is that your proxy might be re-trying the request if your timeout is too short. This would then trigger the same bug as before.
In terms of your backup that only goes to Jan 30, how are you verifying that? Is it once you import into your instance you notice the data only goes back that far, or were you opening the XML file and having a look at it that way?
