I have an extensive glossary and looking to find if I can implement a search bar for users where they just type the word they are looking for rather than having them manually look for the term and definition. Essentially, I am looking to implement a Ctrl +f function on the page, so they can quickly get to the information.
I have tried live search and page tree searches but those did not seem to work ( perhaps not setting them correctly, not sure.)
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Roxana ,
If your glossary is in a tabular form, then we can suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
Its Table Filter macro will help you to get precise search results using various types of filters.
Our team will be happy to arrange a live demo for you - please book a suitable time slot here.
Hi there,
As this question mentions our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, we are happy to introduce its new macro – Table Spreadsheet.
The macro allows you to work with fully functional Excel spreadsheets right in Confluence.
You’ll be able to use cells’ formulas, filters, conditional formatting, etc., create pivot tables and charts from the page view and edit modes.
The Table Spreadsheet macro is available for Cloud and Server/Data Center.

Hi @Roxana
Unfortunatley, this feature does not exist.
The other options is the iFinder Search which is a third party plugin: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/iFinder-Search-Macro-for-Confluence/ba-p/1717979
