Can I add text to gallery photos

I have created a Gallery and inserted photos. Can I add text to describe what's seen in the picture (like alt-text, or a label, or even better, a couple of lines of text that can appear somewhere) so the viewer has context of each shot? I have a lot of pictures from Atlassian Summit to include in my trip report!

When you are on the page go to the tools menu. Click on attachments. The on each image attachment click on the properties link on the right side of the screen. There is a field for comments. Whatever you type in that field will be displayed in the gallery macro.
