Our company is owned by another company. They use an internally hosted version, we use a cloud version, but we both have confluence.

Is there a way to create a shared space between the two so that we can work on projects together?

Hello there Mary-Grace! Could you clarify a little more about the "Shared Space" aspect of your approach?

As I understand your request, it seems that what is needed is a Space that is shared between instances and both companies can access regardless of platform (Cloud or Server) being used.  If this is indeed the necessity, there is no current method of achieving this.

What could help the situation is:

  1. Create an Space in one of the instances (Cloud or Server)
  2. Setup Public access
  3. Enable Anonymous Access to that Space

Here is how to setup public access, for both Confluence Cloud and Server:

Just be aware that Anyone will be able to access that Space, even if they are not within your companies.

Let us know if what I understand from your request is correct, Mary-Grace! Looking forward to your reply.
