Can I include content by cql?

Hi all,

I would like a "include pages by cql macro". Example of behaviour I would like:

Input a CQL query into a macro searching for content by labels and date. The results from the search should be expanded like blog posts in the blog post macro.

I have Scriptrunner for Confluence installed if that helps.

Any ideas, inspiration, addons is appreciated!

After some research it seems Include Content by Label does what I want.

Hello Johan,

Thank you for contacting us. This sounds very similar to the functionality of the Content by Label Macro. This macro allows you to show content in Confluence based on a specific label, but you can also filter using CQL. It's also possible to show an excerpt, just like the Blog Post Macro.

Has this been something you've considered? If it would not work for your team, can you let me know the reason for that?

Regards,

Shannon

Hello Shannon,

The Content By Label Macro shows snippets of the information - I want full text. However, thanks to your tip I searched the Marketplace and found Include Content By Label macro that does almost what I want and it's open source so I will modify it a little bit.

Johan,

Thank you for clarifying that with me, and I'm glad you're able to find a workaround using the Marketplace add-on.

If you have any trouble with it, we have a separate Marketplace Apps collection here in Community, so feel free to ask away!

Regards,

Shannon
