Parent page lists a master schedule at a high level (in a table)
Child pages for each individual project contains details that are often changed (dates, information, etc.) in a table.
Goal: The parent page table is automatically updated with the content (such as key dates) that is entered in the individual child pages. Is this possible?
Yes, with the Page Properties Report macro. You simply create a table on the child pages, with key/value columns, and the parent page can display those key/values in a table.
The next step is when you want to modify those values from the parent page, then you want to manage records in Confluence such as KPI for your projects... That's when Play SQL Spreadsheets kicks in. It lets you manage data like spreadsheets, then include it on the pages. Disclaimer: It's a paid plugin and I'm the author and it's a paid plugin.
