Can I set permissions on a space template?

Is there a way to set permissions in a space so all templates inherit them?  If not, is there a way to set permissions on each individual template?

I have several templates, and it would be very helpful to not have to remember to go in and set the same permissions for the content created with those templates.

The edit permissions will always be for just the same 2 people in the space, and I looked around template settings and space settings for a permissions option on a template but did not see anything.

The permissions are tied to individual spaces, meaning that you would need to this manually for every space.

@Terri Isidro In addition to space permissions, further permissions can be set on individual pages, but not until after the page is created—there's no way to do this via the template you choose for the page.
