Hello everybody

I have several tasks on different pages with due dates. On the starting page I want to make an overview with all tasks (open and completed), but sorted by month. So that I easily can see how many I made in November or in any other month. If it is not possible to sort them by month is it then possible to mark them in different colors? Are there any useful addons?

Thank you for your help

Hi @Martin Reinprecht , welcome to the Community!

The Task Report Macro will display your tasks in a sortable table. So as a workaround out of the box, you could have one macro for each month, setting the Created after field in the macro to the 1st of each month. (Note that the tasks created after the given month will also be listed.)

In case you have the Table Filter and Charts Plugin (or another table app) installed, you could have the months colored with Conditional Formatting.

Hope that helps!

Kind regards,

Nicolai

Hello @Nicolai Sibler ,
thank you very much for the quick answer. I have already tried it via the "Task Report Macro". Here the setting options are unfortunately not extensive enough for my idea. As you mentioned if I set the Created after field in the macro to the 1st of each month, it shows all tasks created after the given month. It would be possible if there is also the option to fill in a second field Created until (so you have a range).

But maybe the Table Filter and Charts plugin is the solution an gives enough options to play with.

Kind regards,

Martin
