Can i create a notification from when a page properties page is updated?

I have a page, with a page properties report macro and a create template macro.

When they click on the create template macro it adds some labels etc to it, which the page properties report macro then displays if present

How can i get a notification when they click on the create template macro and publish, as watching the page where it is displayed does not provided notifications as only has the macro on there so doesnt change

Hi @Josh Lenton - welcome to this wonderful community. 

Are the pages which are created from the template under a certain page? Maybe this free addon Tree View might be a useful to watch the page and all childpages.
