Can not update application navigator links and app name

Hi, can not edit application navigator links. deleted application links, updated in db but can not solve. Confluence name show blank

It's because you "updated in db" - never use SQL to touch an Atlassian database unless you are specifically told to by support to fix a bug (and always have it off line)

You might be able to rescue this is you shut down Confluence completely, put back the data that was in the table before and restart it, and I'd then recommend going back to admin and removing the links you'd created and re-build them in the UI.

What are the symptoms of "can not update application links"?  When you go into the admin screen to amend them, what do you see?  Does the commit just not change anything, do you get an error, there's no way to get to it, the button for commit does nothing?  etc
