Hello,
We have confluence server. When I first set it up, I installed JIRA first, then confluence, and selected confluence user management from JIRA.
Due to a power failure JIRA and Confluence crashed. I could recover Confluence, which works fine, but I can't delete/add/edit users and groups. Also, only admin can login.
I've tried migrating to cloud and back again, but it doesn't want to delete users from Cloud, neither.
I've reinstalled the server. This time Ubuntu with mySQL as back-end (before it was Windows + PostgreSQL). I've imported the data OK, but the user problem still persist:)
Is there a way to ONLY import spaces, NOT users?
OR
Is there a way to delete users and anything JIRA related from Confluence? I'm comfortable with mySQL and command line.
Thank you.
Laszlo,
Welcome to community. So you have removed the Jira user directory from Confluence and are now using the confluence user directory. And you are now wondering if you can remove all the inactive users from the old directory?
Hi Brant!
Not exactly. I can't add new users, I can't delete users, I can't change any user related settings.
As we have less than 30 pages, we'll just readd those manually, as it takes less time than figuring out how confluence works:)
But, thank you for taking the time to try to help me.
